[texpoint-users] texpoint, MiKTex, and \frac

Hi, all-

Hoping this is just a simple configuration issue.

I've got MiKTeX loaded on my windows XP machine and am running texpoint with
power point 2007.  I am trying to use \frac  without success.  The latex
code in the edit Latex display is as follows:

\documentclass{article}\pagestyle{empty}
\usepackage{amsmath}

\begin{document}

\begin{equation}
\frac{n_d(s)}{d_d(s)}
\end{equation}

\end{document}

After hitting "make display" there is a failure and I get the message below
(some of the paths have been edited for privacy).  Does anyone see what is
wrong here-- why I cannot get \frac to compile?
