[texpoint-users] Embedded fonts

I recently started using TexPoint and am having an embedded fonts problem. Specifically, in the classroom where I teach I get the "garbled" symbols when displaying powerpoint slides containing TexPoint information. I hope someone can help -- please don't make me go back to having to use the powerpoint equation editor :O)

An example of text that I am having problems with is as follows:
