[texpoint-users] TexPoint on mac, finds latex but "no output generated" FAILED message (take 2)

Hi there,

I'm having a problem with TexPoint for mac 2004 previously reported on  
the list: latex is found but "no output generated" (see TexPoint  
Configuration information below).

My default shell is bash and my /etc/profile starts with:
	PATH="/sw/bin:$PATH"
	export PATH
latex seems to be working fine and is definitely in the right place:
	bash-3.2$ which latex
	/sw/bin/latex
Any clues on what could be going on?

If all external commands are OK, TexPoint is fully functional. In case  
a 'FAILED' is shown, some features will not work. You may want to  
install the indicated software and/or check the global (on Mac: the  
bash) path configuration. Please also check the manual for  
details.
