[texpoint-users] user interface problem with TexPoint under OSX PPT Office 2011

The quote below hopefully answers this question. Andreas.

"
The font size issue is unfortunately persistent and we know about it
since the first mac version of TexPoint:
Macs use a standard resolution of 72dpi, while Windows 96dpi. Since font
sizes are measured in points (i.e. 1/72 of an inch) fonts on Windows at
the same font size look 1/3 bigger than on Macs. (
http://www.rfwilmut.clara.net/about/fonts.html )
Regarding TexPoint, it becomes worse since window sizes of VBA UserForms
are also measured in points instead of the usual pixels, so we cannot
simply scale all fonts by 4/3 on Macs. But if we scale all TexPoint
windows by this factor, they might become unusable on Windows...
This becomes now more problematic with high pixel density displays.

We try to come with a solution in the next release.
